Elly joined the committee in 2017 as a student and graduated from her LPC with MSc Law and Business Management in 2018 with distinction. At University she set up a Women’s Network (@ULWomensNetwork) which developed into a society focused on female role models and influencers in the legal world who have led and made an impact in the areas of entrepreneurship, technology and diversity.
She currently has an exciting role as a Legal Operations Paralegal at Wavelength Law, where she is gaining experience in commercial and technology contracts, project management and business development. She has also worked for Legal Geek on their website profile pages for the LegalTech Startup map.
Before her current role, Elly completed a 6 month graduate placement in Local Government, gaining experience in Litigation and Conveyancing. As well as being involved in some exciting cases, she saw potential to improve workflows, processes and technology used in many Councils across the UK. Elly’s current role at Wavelength Law is important to be a change maker in the LegalTech space and remedy some of the inefficiencies across the legal sector today.
