AWS London is a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive community for women lawyers. We promote a community of lawyers who are relaxed and open so that we can support each other in our careers.

Membership is open to all women working in or studying the law. Ordinary membership is open to all female solicitors. Associate membership is open to all women paralegals, legal executives, legal professionals, lawyers qualified in other jurisdictions, women barristers, and students of the law.

The Association needs YOU!
1. We will need a Treasurer from March 2025. If you are keen we can start the handover sooner!
2. Ideal candidate will have some previous committee experience preferable as a Treasurer and have some knowledge of excel spreadsheets. We use other online platforms to support the administration of this role.
3.This is a voluntary role. It is supported by a paid administrator for maintaining records of subscriptions and a paid Accountant for drawing up the annual accounts. You will be budgeting for individual events and advising the committee on overall expenditure.
4. This role can help your self-development. You will learn about different information processing techniques and tools. It is an essential role to the running of the association. You will get to know other committee members outside of your usual area of expertise.
