Kim qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and quickly joined the partnership at Russell Cook where she became head of the family law team for a period of 10 years.
She then spent a brief spell as a consultant family lawyer which she combined with caring for her young son.
Kim joined Anthony Gold in 1996 and has remained there happily for the last 20 years (phew!).
Kim was one of the first lawyers in the country to qualify as a mediator and is absolutely committed to dispute resolution. She is a Resolution and Law Society accredited mediator as well as family panel member.
Kim was the chair of Resolution Dispute Resolution Committee for several years before becoming national chair of the organisation from 2004 to 2006. During that period she was also a Law Society Council member.
At the very first Jordan’s Family Law awards Kim was shortlisted in the Innovation category and received the ADR Practitioner of the Year award.
Over the years Kim has nurtured numerous trainees (mostly female it has to be said but that’s family law for you) and she is very proud to say that many of them are now prominent, well-respected practitioners in their own right.
